Basic Superfood Elixir Smoothie
16 oz liquid base (preferably spring water or chaga tea)
2-3 tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp maca powder
1 scoop sun warrior protein powder
2 tsp goji berry powder
2 tsp mesquite powder
1 cup organic frozen berries (preferably blueberries,
raspberries or cherries - low glycemic & high in antioxidants)
Liquid Stevia or Raw Honey for sweetener
1 pinch of sea salt or Himalayan pink salt
1 tsp coconut oil (raw extra virgin)
Place liquid in blender first and then add dry ingredients. Blend until smooth. Make sure you scrape down the sides of the blender once and re-blend to avoid any powders or clumps getting stuck to the sides.
Healthy Chocolate Sauce
-
6 Tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
-
1/2 Cup Organic Maple Syrup or Honey
-
1 pinch of sea salt or Himalayan pink salt
-
1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (Melted with low heat)
-
1 Tbsp Water
Mix your sweetener, coconut oil and water together in bowl. Slowly whisk the raw cacao powder into the mixture, mixing it in until well-blended into a smooth sauce. The amount suggested here is a rough guideline. How much cacao powder you will ultimately use depends on the consistency you want. Do not use a food processor or blender for this recipe. Use a bowl and a whisk or a paddle spoon. Do not refrigerate (sauce will harden). Sauce will keep (covered) for one week.
Chaga Mushroom Tea
Research shows the best way to draw the nutrients from Chaga Mushroom is by low heat water extraction. We do not recommend using boiling water with raw Chaga, since the hot temperature may corrupt the melanin complex and the polysaccharides, among other active ingredients.
Brewing Instructions: Place 4 quarts of spring water or purified water in a large stock/soup pot. Bring water up to 122 degrees (most stoves this will be Low/Medium temperature). Place 2-3 pieces of Tribalive Wildcrafted Dried Chaga in the water. Cover with lid and brew for 3-4 hours on low setting. Strain off into glass jars and store in fridge. Chaga tea keeps up to 5 days.
Important! The pieces of brewed chaga can be dried out and reused up to 5-6 times. If you live in a humid climate we recommend that you dry the chaga out in a dehydrator or in the oven on lowest setting with door open until pieces are dry to touch. This prevents any mold and will preserve the chaga in between tea batches..
DETOXIFICATION: For first time users, there is a small probability of increased bowel movements in the first 24-48 hours which indicates the body is detoxifying. These symptoms should clear up the next few days. You may experience the short period of headaches, fatigue, body odor, bad breath, diarrhea or mouth sores that commonly accompany accelerated elimination. Detoxification also may change the mood. If necessary, reduce the dosages being used for one week. DRINK PLENTY OF WATER - At least eight 8 ounce glasses a day for detoxification.
IMPORTANT While taking Chaga beverages do not take penicillin and do not use intravenous injections of glucose. Those substances are antagonists to Chaga.
